Gurleen PopliInstEAD’s deputy director, Dr Gurleen Popli, presented her joint work entitled “Children’s development and parental input: Evidence from the UK Millennium Cohort Study” with Dr Mónica Hernández-Alava, which took place on 2 and 3 April 2015.

The research, which was presented at a LEER Workshop on the Economics of Education (University of Leuven, Belgium) demonstrates the importance of parental investment, the activities that parents carry out with children at home for a child’s prosperous development.
